City of Gretna Police Department Receives 4th Reaccreditation from the Florida Commission on Law Enforcement Accreditation

GRETNA, FL - June 20, 2024 - The City of Gretna is proud to announce that the Gretna Police Department has received its fourth reaccreditation from the Florida Commission on Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) on June 20, 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights the department's ongoing commitment to excellence in law enforcement and community service.

 

The Gretna Police Department stands out as the only law enforcement agency in Gadsden County to be accredited and is distinguished as the smallest accredited department in the state of Florida. This accomplishment underscores the department's dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and service to the community.

 

Accreditation from the CFA is a rigorous process that involves a comprehensive review of the department's policies, procedures, management, operations, and support services. It signifies that the Gretna Police Department adheres to the best practices and standards set forth by the law enforcement community.
